Privacy policy

Overview
Calcinum (https://calcinum.com) is a free online calculator website. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Calculator usage
We do NOT store any numbers you enter into our calculators. All calculations run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. No salary, tax, or financial data is ever sent to our servers. If you use the Save button, a copy is kept in your own browser, see Data stored in your browser below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-BEKW2FECCS) to understand how visitors use our site. This collects: pages visited, time on page, device type, browser, approximate geographic location (country/region level), and referral source. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out using browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Contact form
If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This data is processed by Web3Forms and delivered to us via email. We use it only to respond to your inquiry and do not share it with third parties.
Cookies
Outside the regions noted below, we use cookies for Google Analytics (analytics) and for advertising served by Google AdSense and Adsterra. These third-party vendors use cookies to serve and measure ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are not served any advertising or analytics. Because we do not operate a consent management platform, we do not load Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or Adsterra for visitors detected in those regions, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set for them.
Data stored in your browser
Some calculators offer a Save button. If you use it, we store that calculation in your browser's local storage under the key calcinum_saved, so you can revisit it on the Saved calculations page.
What is saved
The label you type, the values you entered into that calculator, the result it produced, the page address and title, and the date you saved it. Because the values you entered are included, a saved calculation may contain figures such as your salary, loan balance, or tax details.
Where it goes
Nowhere. Local storage never leaves your device, and this data is not transmitted to us, to our hosting provider, or to any third party. It is not accessible to other websites. Anyone with access to your browser profile on that device can read it, so avoid saving sensitive figures on a shared or public computer.
How long it is kept
Until you delete it. There is no expiry. We keep the 50 most recent saved calculations; saving more discards the oldest. Nothing is saved unless you press Save.
How to remove it
Delete individual entries, or clear them all, from the Saved calculations page. Clearing your browser's site data for calcinum.com removes them too. Uninstalling or resetting your browser has the same effect.
What we do NOT collect
- Salary, income, or tax information entered into calculators (calculations you choose to save stay in your browser and are never sent to us, see above)
- Social Security numbers or personal tax IDs
- Payment information (we have no paid features)
- Precise location data beyond what Google Analytics collects at the country/region level
